The publication is devoted to a comprehensive project for engineering protection of the Tuluchi-Akur section on the Baikal-Amur Mainline in the Vanino District of the Khabarovsk Territory. This 2 km long section, which is located in a mountainous area, is characterized by high risks of rockfalls and snow avalanches. The paper considers the implementation of its engineering protection in 2023–2024 according to the project carried out by the SpetsProektPut company with the participation of PC TRUMER LLC, with construction and installation work carried out by the TransGeoService company. The article describes the conducted surveys of the area, including geological and geodetic studies. It also describes details of the implementation of design solutions for the installation of anti-rockfall and anti-avalanche barriers. The article emphasizes the importance of accuracy of engineering surveys and professional approaches to the implementation of engineering protection projects on hazardous sections of railway tracks.
