Currently, digitalization of the engineering survey industry causes rejection among many engineering surveyors. There are several reasons for this. The main reason of them, from the point of view of the authors of the presented article, is lack of information on the actions and means that are necessary to convert engineering survey results into digital form. State Budgetary Institution “Mosgoroetrest” is a practicing organization in the engineering survey industry, and it also actively work towards the digital development of the industry. This paper deals with the main aspects of the digitalization of engineering- geological surveys, assesses the advantages and difficulties associated with the introduction of digital technologies, and provides some practical examples of the successful application of these technologies.
